I’m an idiot.
I missed an exit and ended up going about 100 miles out of my way.
You see, I have a no contract phone plan. I guess I used up the data part of the pan by using the GPS on the phone. So, it stopped connecting. And I missed the exit that would have me cut Northwest across West Virginia. Instead, I stayed in WV and went through Lexington, KY and Cincinnati, OH. So, yeah. A whole bunch of miles added to my trip.
Because of this, I’ve had to stop for the night. I probably could have made it. I’m only 160 miles from home. But I’ve driven longer than I expected to, so I’m pooped So, here I stop and here I sleep. I didn’t even ask for the cost of the room…I just asked for a room. It’s worth it.
