NaBloPoMo (11/2015) – Day 2: New experiences can be surprisingly tasty

I’m not a drinker. I have nothing against a nice, adult beverage from time to time. But, for the most part, I stick to water or tea…stuff without alcohol.

My adult beverage of choice is usually beer. I’m a simple girl. I like Rolling Rock, Coors Light, and Bud Light. In that order. I don’t like what I call “designer” beer. I don’t like pale ales. I don’t like dark beers. I don’t like imports. All of these drinks are either too bitter or they end up leaving a lingering bad taste.

But tonight I was introduced to a drink that I really rather enjoyed.

Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout.

Jiminy Christmas! This was really, really good!

I thought it had a nice, smooth taste…with no bitter after taste. It’s nice with desert.

Watch out, though. It’s got a kick. One bottle gave me a bit of a buzz!

I’m definitely hitting the liquor store and getting some of this for the holidays.

Thank you for being specific. I love stouts, and now I know which one to look for. I too have been trying on and trying out different experiences recently, and I plan to continue. Cheers!

I’m not a fan of the silly beer flavors out there, but what you had sounds really good!
